Creator Earnings and Payout Terms

These terms explain how creator earnings work on Olevus: what qualifies, how value is calculated, when it becomes available, and how payouts are requested and sent.

Effective July 27, 2026

Version 1.0 · Owner: Olevus · Effective July 27, 2026

1. Introduction

These Creator Earnings and Payout Terms govern creator earnings eligibility, payout-account verification, payout requests, fees, holding periods, refunds and disputes, payout restrictions, and Stripe-connected accounts.

The general Olevus Terms of Service and Privacy Policy continue to apply. Where these terms address payouts specifically, they add to — and do not replace — those agreements.

2. Earnings Eligibility

Only qualifying coins received from other members may create creator earnings. Olevus determines eligibility through its authoritative transaction and eligibility records.

The following do not create redeemable earnings:

  • coins purchased by the same member;
  • promotional coins;
  • bonus coins;
  • beta or test coins;
  • restored coins;
  • legacy balances;
  • administrative credits;
  • coins otherwise marked nonredeemable.

Purchased coins are platform credits. They are not themselves redeemable for cash.

3. Payout Value

Under the current Creator Earnings V1 conversion:

  • each payout-eligible received coin creates 5 mills of creator payout value;
  • 1 mill equals one-thousandth of one U.S. dollar;
  • 10 mills equal one cent;
  • 1,000 mills equal one U.S. dollar.

Creators receive 80% of the eligible gifting value and Olevus retains 20%. All calculations use whole integer units. Sub-cent residual mills remain in the member's eligible balance and are not discarded.

An ordinary coin-wallet balance is a balance of platform credits. It is not a cash balance.

4. Holding Period

Qualifying received coins are subject to a 14-day holding period. Pending earnings are not available for payout. Earnings become available only after the hold expires and all eligibility conditions remain satisfied.

Refunds, disputes, reversals, fraud review, or other restrictions may delay, freeze, reduce, or eliminate pending or available earnings.

5. Minimum Payout and Fee

  • minimum gross payout request: $25.00;
  • cash-out fee: 3%;
  • minimum cash-out fee: $1.00;
  • the fee is deducted from the gross payout amount;
  • you see gross, fee, and net amounts before confirming a payout request;
  • payout values are calculated authoritatively by Olevus, not by your browser.

Illustrative example (nonbinding)

A $25.00 gross payout has a $1.00 fee because the minimum fee applies, resulting in a $24.00 net transfer. This example is illustrative only and does not guarantee any particular amount or outcome.

6. Stripe Verification

Payouts require a completed Stripe-connected payout account. Stripe may require identity, business, tax, and bank information, and that sensitive verification information is provided directly to Stripe.

Olevus does not collect or store full bank-account numbers, Social Security numbers, tax identification numbers, identity documents, or Stripe credentials.

Stripe may restrict, suspend, or require updates to a connected account. Completing Stripe verification does not guarantee that Olevus payout access is currently enabled.

7. Payout Requests

  • a payout request reserves the corresponding eligible earnings;
  • reserved earnings cannot be reused, re-gifted, or included in another payout request;
  • only one active payout request may be permitted at a time;
  • cancellation may be available only before execution begins;
  • cancellation restores only eligibility that remains valid;
  • once execution begins, cancellation may no longer be available.

8. Processing and Timing

Payout timing is not guaranteed. Requests may be delayed by provider processing, verification, compliance review, reconciliation, technical issues, refunds, disputes, or financial restrictions.

Olevus may route a payout to manual review and does not promise immediate or same-day completion. Stripe may separately determine when transferred funds reach the connected account's bank.

9. Refunds, Disputes, and Reversals

Qualifying creator earnings may be frozen, reduced, reversed, offset, or placed in manual review when related value is affected by:

  • purchase refunds;
  • payment disputes;
  • chargebacks;
  • payment reversals;
  • fraudulent activity;
  • duplicate or erroneous transactions;
  • platform rule violations.

Unrelated eligible value should remain unaffected where the system can identify separate funding sources. Olevus may offset valid losses against pending, reserved, or future creator earnings. A completed transfer reversal does not automatically restore creator eligibility, and financial adjustments require provider and internal reconciliation.

10. Restrictions and Suspension

Olevus may pause or block payout access for:

  • suspected fraud;
  • account compromise;
  • sanctions or compliance concerns;
  • incomplete Stripe verification;
  • disputes or refund exposure;
  • negative or deficient eligibility;
  • violations of Olevus policies;
  • technical or reconciliation issues;
  • legal or regulatory requirements.

A payout restriction does not necessarily remove unrelated Olevus account access unless separately required.

11. Taxes

  • creators are responsible for their own tax obligations;
  • Olevus or Stripe may request tax information;
  • Olevus or Stripe may issue tax forms where required;
  • Olevus may withhold or delay payouts where legally required;
  • payout fees, gross earnings, net transfers, reversals, and reportable amounts may be treated differently for tax purposes.

Creators should consult their own tax professional.

12. Privacy and Data

In connection with payouts, Olevus may store:

  • the Stripe connected-account identifier;
  • verification status;
  • capability status;
  • payout-request records;
  • transfer identifiers;
  • amounts;
  • timestamps;
  • safe provider errors;
  • reconciliation and audit records.

Sensitive identity, tax, and banking data remains with Stripe except where law requires otherwise. See the Olevus Privacy Policy.

13. Platform Changes

Payout economics, minimums, fees, limits, hold periods, and availability may change prospectively. Material changes will be communicated through Olevus.

Changes do not retroactively create redeemability for previously nonredeemable coins. Olevus may suspend the payout program when operationally, legally, or financially necessary.

14. No Guarantee of Cash Value

  • coins are not bank deposits;
  • coins are not legal tender;
  • purchased coins are not refundable cash equivalents unless required by law;
  • payout eligibility exists only under the current Olevus earnings program;
  • displaying an estimated balance does not guarantee payment until the payout is completed.
