Terms of Service
These terms describe what you can expect from Olevus and what we ask of you in return. Plain language. No surprises.
Effective January 1, 2026
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for the activity that happens on your account, for keeping your sign-in credentials private, and for the accuracy of information you provide. You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use Olevus.
Username Policy
Usernames on Olevus are a form of identity. You may not register a username with the intent to impersonate a real person, brand, public figure, or organization, and you may not register usernames in bulk for resale or squatting. We may reclaim usernames that violate this policy.
User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of the articles, responses, recognitions, and other content you submit to Olevus. By submitting content, you grant Olevus a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content as required to operate the platform.
You are responsible for the content you publish. You may not submit content you do not have the right to share.
Platform Rules
Use of Olevus is also governed by our Trust & Safety standards and Community Guidelines. Together they describe what is and is not acceptable conduct on the platform.
Intellectual Property
The Olevus name, the Olevus mark, the visual identity, and the platform software are the property of Olevus and may not be used without permission. Member content remains the property of the member who created it.
Moderation
Olevus may review, label, limit the visibility of, or remove content that violates our standards or the law. We may also restrict features, require verification, or take other proportionate action to protect the integrity of the platform.
Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or close accounts that materially or repeatedly violate these terms, that put other members at risk, or that are used for fraud, abuse, or illegal activity. You may close your account at any time.
Limitation of Liability
Olevus is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Olevus is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes to the Service
Olevus evolves over time. We may add, change, or retire features. If we make material changes to these terms, we will notify members in a reasonable way before the changes take effect.
