Authentic participation matters. Olevus is for real people contributing in good faith. We invest heavily in keeping it that way.

Contribution matters. Status on Olevus is earned by what you add, not by what you take.

Ownership matters. Your identity, your work, and your communities belong to you.

Olevus is a place for serious people to think out loud. That means:

• Civil disagreement, including strong disagreement.
• Debate on contested ideas, including political, philosophical, and technical topics.
• A wide range of viewpoints, including ones we personally don't share.
• Direct, constructive criticism of work, ideas, and arguments.

Some things are incompatible with a reputation-first community. The following are not permitted on Olevus:

• Spam, scams, and deceptive promotion.
• Fraud — financial, identity, or otherwise.
• Impersonation of real people, brands, or organizations.
• Targeted harassment of individuals or groups.
• Threats of violence or content that incites violence.
• Coordinated abuse, manipulation, or inauthentic behavior.
• Content that is illegal in jurisdictions where Olevus operates.

Olevus is designed to reward meaningful participation rather than outrage, manipulation, or low-value engagement. We don't optimize for time-on-app and we don't amplify content because it provokes a reaction.

When we take action, we prefer the smallest intervention that resolves the problem — context first, visibility limits second, removal or account action when necessary. Repeated or severe violations result in account suspension or termination.
