A Sovereign Social Ecosystem
Established by and subject to the Constitution of Olevus
Every member of Olevus possesses equal constitutional protections under the Constitution of Olevus. These rights exist to preserve constitutional participation, accountability, transparency, and trust throughout the platform.
Right I
The Right to Constitutional Participation
You have the right to participate in Olevus consistent with the Constitution, the Governance Framework, and the responsibilities of membership.
Participation shall not be restricted arbitrarily.
Right II
The Right to Open Discourse
Expression receives the broadest constitutional protection.
Disagreement alone is not a violation.
The platform shall not govern participation based solely upon ideology, belief, opinion, popularity, or lawful disagreement.
Right III
The Right to Fair Governance
Governance actions must be supported by evidence, applied consistently, and exercised in accordance with constitutional principles.
Governance shall not be exercised to control thought, ideology, belief, opinion, or lawful disagreement.
Authority exists to preserve constitutional participation, not to determine what members should think.
Right IV
The Right to Notice
When significant governance actions affect your constitutional participation, you have the right to be informed of the action and the basis for it.
Silent penalties are prohibited.
Right V
The Right to Review
You have the right to request review of significant governance actions affecting your constitutional participation.
Review procedures shall operate according to the Governance Framework of Olevus.
Right VI
The Right to Human Accountability
Artificial intelligence may assist platform operations.
Artificial intelligence may not independently exercise final authority over constitutional participation.
Meaningful human accountability remains required.
Right VII
The Right to Ownership
You retain ownership of your original contributions, subject to the platform's published terms governing operation of the service.
Ownership does not depend upon popularity, standing, or influence.
Right VIII
The Right to Attribution
You have the right to reasonable attribution for your original work when reproduced or substantially summarized within the platform.
Right IX
The Right to Voluntary Association
You may create, join, organize, participate in, and leave communities voluntarily.
Freedom of association includes the freedom not to associate.
Right X
The Right to Equal Constitutional Protection
Constitutional protections apply equally to all members.
Popularity, influence, prominence, status, standing, or reputation do not create superior constitutional rights.
Member Responsibility
Constitutional rights are accompanied by constitutional responsibilities.
Members are expected to:
- Participate honestly and in good faith
- Respect the constitutional rights of others
- Contribute to the integrity of the platform and its communities
- Accept accountability for their conduct and contributions
Closing Declaration
The purpose of this Bill of Rights is not to eliminate disagreement.
Its purpose is to ensure that participation occurs within a framework of accountability, transparency, fairness, and trust.
