Creator Rights & Economic Standards of Olevus

Subordinate to the Constitution of Olevus
Creators are among the primary builders of value within Olevus. The platform exists to enable individuals to create, contribute, educate, entertain, organize, build communities, develop reputations, and pursue opportunity. The purpose of these standards is to establish the rights, protections, and economic principles governing creator participation within Olevus. These standards exist to promote transparency, accountability, creator ownership, audience access, and economic fairness while remaining consistent with the Constitution of Olevus and the Governance Framework of Olevus. In all cases, the Constitution of Olevus remains the controlling authority.
Article I
Creator Ownership
Creators retain ownership of their original work.
Ownership includes:
- Articles
- Posts
- Media
- Educational content
- Creative works
- Community content
- Other original contributions
Olevus does not acquire ownership of creator work.
Platform operation requires limited usage rights necessary to host, distribute, secure, and operate the service.
Ownership remains with the creator.
Creators should be able to access and export their original contributions, subject to reasonable technical, privacy, security, and legal limitations.
The ability to access and export creator-owned work supports the practical exercise of creator ownership.
Article II
Audience Access
Creators have the right to build and communicate with audiences they have lawfully established within Olevus.
Olevus does not sell creators access to their own audiences.
Olevus does not intentionally suppress creator-to-audience communication through undisclosed governance actions.
Audience access remains subject to:
- Constitutional standards
- Governance standards
- Community standards
- Applicable platform rules
Creators who reasonably believe audience access has been impaired by undisclosed governance actions may seek review through established platform procedures.
Article III
Economic Participation
Creators may participate in monetization pathways established by Olevus.
These pathways may include:
- Subscriptions
- Community memberships
- Audience support systems
- Digital sales
- Educational offerings
- Advertising programs
- Sponsorship opportunities
- Creator commerce systems
Olevus may establish additional monetization pathways over time.
Participation in particular programs may be subject to published eligibility requirements.
Article IV
Economic Transparency
Revenue programs should be transparent, published, and understandable.
Creators should be able to understand:
- How compensation works
- How fees are applied
- How revenue is calculated
Hidden economic penalties are prohibited.
Creators may request explanation of compensation calculations that appear inconsistent with published economic standards.
Article V
Creator Protections
Creators retain all constitutional protections established by Olevus.
In addition, creators should receive reasonable notice of significant changes affecting:
- Monetization eligibility requirements
- Compensation structures
- Creator program participation requirements
Creators may access and export information made available through platform-provided creator tools, subject to reasonable technical, privacy, and security limitations.
Creator status does not exempt creators from platform standards.
Platform standards do not eliminate creator protections.
Article VI
Audience Growth
Olevus does not guarantee audience growth, popularity, reach, revenue, influence, or success.
Olevus seeks to provide a system in which creators may pursue those outcomes through constitutional participation.
Reputation, audience growth, and economic success emerge through participation, contribution, audience judgment, and creator effort.
Article VII
Platform Economic Responsibilities
Olevus should publish:
- Economic standards
- Monetization requirements
- Creator eligibility requirements
- Fee structures
- Program participation requirements
Changes affecting creator economic participation should be communicated transparently.
Article VIII
Anti-Manipulation Principle
Olevus shall not intentionally employ undisclosed systems designed primarily to suppress lawful creator participation.
Distribution systems may organize, prioritize, and present content consistent with platform operation and user preferences.
Such systems may not be used as undisclosed tools of creator suppression.
Creators retain the right to seek review where they reasonably believe undisclosed governance actions have impaired constitutional participation.
Article IX
Creator Responsibilities
Creators are expected to participate honestly and in good faith.
Creator responsibilities include:
- Respecting constitutional protections
- Complying with platform standards
- Avoiding fraud and deception
- Honoring published monetization requirements
- Respecting the rights of audiences, communities, and other members
Rights and responsibilities remain linked.
Article X
Closing Principle
The platform succeeds when creators succeed.
Creators are among the primary builders of value within Olevus.
The relationship between creators and the platform should remain transparent, accountable, and aligned.
Trust is strengthened when authority voluntarily constrains itself.
